Common Leakage Of Pipeline

Valve Packing Leak

  • This is the most common application for under pressure leak sealing services for many reasons.
  • These valve packing leak can be repacked on-line very quickly and economically without shutdown or having to insolate the valve itself.

Flange Joint Leak

  • Flange leak are an unfortunate common appearance in many facilities and can be easily sealed by using the on-line leak sealing technology.
  • There are many different ways to achieving a seal on a flange depending on the gap of the flange and also temperature and pressure.

Pipe Fitting Leak

  • The box enclosure clamps are manufactured to the standard pipe size and are fabricated in short radius or long radius application.
  • Once the box enclosures are installed, they are injected with suitable sealant to perform a 100% guaranteed seal – injection groove/cavity filled sealing method is depending on pipe conditions.

Weld Joint Leak

  • These enclosures are manufactured to various pipe sizes and can be installed and injected very quickly to avoid costly shutdown and further problems.
  • Sometimes a strong back is used to give additional support or restraint to the pipe and clamp.

Heat Exchanger Leak

  • The common leak sealing method used for heat exchanger leakage is the drill and tap method.
  • The sealant selection is based on the medium, pressure and temperature – select a non curing sealing compound for it flow characteristics and for future re-injection purposes

Valve Bonnet Leak

  • The common method used for valve bonnet leak is the drill & tap method, where we:
    • Drill and tap a blind hole at the mid of valve body to suit an injection valve.
    • A long series drill is use to break through the stuffing box body.
    • A sealant is then injected to seal the leak through the injection valve.

Pipe Crimping

  • Pipe crimping method is use to provide a permanent isolation or to block off the flow on a live small size pipeline where there is no isolation valves is available to perform an isolation.
  • The principle of the process is to crimp the pipe with crimping clamp and inject sealant at the upstream side to seal off flow/leakage.

Pipe Wrapping

Valve Killing / Valve Passing

  • Valve killing is a perfect solution to stop a valve seat passing to achieve an isolation
  • Sealant is injected into the upstream side of seat area to provide a safe seal and to stop the flow.
  • The sealant will remain in the system and is usually caught in a drain if the valve is open again
  • Valve killing is perform by using the drill & tap method – under pressure and no shut down!

Metal Paste

  • Metal paste services is a repair work to repair damage surface such as badly corroded pipe, leaking pipe, tank, roller, shaft, valve body (inside and outside), propeller, fin blade etc. We are using specialize two-part putty that incorporated with fibre cloth or wire mesh.
